The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 has resulted in federal stimulus dollars for DEED programs that support job seekers and communities in Minnesota. DEED has/is developing plans for spending these dollars:

Strategic Plans
DEED's strategic planning results from an examination of the current environment, awareness of the pending challenges and opportunities, and regular check-ins so strategic plans become ongoing time-management tools that tell leaders and staff where to focus energy and resources.

• Minnesota's Unified Plan for WIA - the State's comprehensive vision of a workforce investment system, including broad economic, education, training, workforce development, and related goals in response to the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 and coordinated by DEED; May 2007 (this is a three-year plan)
