MnROC Background

Minnesota’s Adult Basic Education and WorkForce Centers feel the pressure to quickly deliver basic skills and job training services across the state in response to national and regional economic shifts.

MnROC was created through a need to reduce rework, delays and curriculum deficiencies that can be caused when multiple centers need to respond quickly with limited resources. MnROC is a way for the Minnesota adult basic education and WorkForce Centers to quickly share their quality training materials.

MnROC is a shared repository for coursework syllabi with links to online coursework materials. By sharing this information online, we can reduce the amount of time it takes to start new training programs across the state and quickly disseminate higher quality coursework materials.

MnROC is a free resource, searchable by keywords. As a guest, MnROC will save you time and money by helping you locate prepared syllabi and coursework materials (teacher materials, student handouts, quizzes, etc.).

If you have course materials that are appropriate for adult basic education or WorkForce Center training, you are welcome to register as a contributor and submit your materials. The documents in the Templates and Examples section of MnROC will guide you through the process.
