Recovery Act Projects and Activities
Overview
Helping at-risk youth earn high school diplomas and GEDs. Providing hands-on work experience to youth on Indian reservations. Teaching teen parents to look to the future to develop career plans. Working with juvenile offenders so that they have no further contact with the criminal justice system. Preparing youth in foster care for the transition to life on their own.
These are just a few of the things that Minnesota has done with its allotment of federal Recovery Act funding for youth.
