2011 Teen Parent Summer Youth Project
The 2011 Teen Parent Summer Youth Project provides summer youth opportunities to teen parents age 14 to 21 who are currently receiving Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) assistance.
Eligibility for Services
To qualify to participate in the project, youth must meet all of the following criteria:
- Age 14 through 21 at the time of enrollment
- Teen parent
- Currently receiving MFIP assistance and referred by a MFIP Employment Service Provider
- African American or American Indian
- Enrolled in secondary school, including alternative schools
- Head of household
