County Legacy Grants

With Pathways to Employment’s support, the Metropolitan Seven-County Employment and Alternative Service (EAS) group (Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Dakota, Anoka, Carver and Scott counties) contracted with a nonprofit service provider, Dakota Communities, to produce “Work’s For Me: A Supportive Employment Toolkit.”

The toolkit is designed to help their clients to find and keep competitive employment. EAS is currently funded to expand the toolkit to include material about networking and integrated employment.

Dakota Communities is creating materials that teach a step-by-step process providers can use to develop their own networking and outreach plans. Dakota Communities will train both providers and people with disabilities on how to use the tool kit to cultivate job relationships.
