The Disability Linkage Line
The Disability Linkage Line (DLL) is a free, information and referral resource providing Minnesotans with disabilities a single access point for all disability related questions.
1-866-333-2466
DLL acts as an unbiased central clearinghouse, helping people with disabilities or long-term illnesses understand their options and successfully access the services they choose. Users call a single, toll-free number. Depending on the area code of the dialer, the call is routed to one of four regional call centers (Northern, Central, Southern or Metro).
DLL taps a virtual network of experts to provide real-time solutions for callers, connecting them with a Disability Linkage Line Options Counselor in their community. DLL Options Counselors provide a free, neutral service that helps people identify resource and benefits options, make informed decision, manage their benefits, overcome barriers to services, and find solutions.
Disability Linkage Line was built to enhance and coordinate existing community and state efforts, developing a statewide, interconnected disability information system that includes the online database MinnesotaHelp.info (www.minnesotahelp.info), Senior Linkage Line, and other community information and service providers.
DHS contracts with the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living (MCIL) and the Southeastern Minnesota Center for Independent Living (SEMCIL) to provide statewide information, assistance and outreach services through the four regional call centers.
There is no wrong call to DLL. DLL serves community providers, counties, individuals with disabilities and their support networks.
