Planning Process Overview


Planning just how to make the best use of  WIA funding for job seekers and businesses is a process that takes place on both the state and local levels.

Local Planning

Each year, local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) in Minnesota develop plans that support the goals of WIA and the direction prescribed by Minnesota's Unified Plan.
