WIA Planning Efforts
In developing the state's Unified Plan, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development coordinates a joint planning process that includes public and private entities, as well as members of the general public.
Local workforce investment boards in turn submit unified plans that describe how the local workforce investment systems under their guidance will respond to the needs of regional labor markets.
