Trade Missions and Trade Shows
Participating in trade missions and international trade shows are excellent ways to explore market opportunities and meet potential distributors, partners, and buyers.
Each year, we bring business delegations from throughout Minnesota to participate in trade mission and trade shows in markets all over the world. Here we highlight we highlight events that we sponsor as well as events sponsored by key government agencies and partner organizations.

Minnesota Mission to China and Japan September 9 to 18, 2010
Governor Tim Pawlenty will lead a trade mission to China and Japan to expand the state’s trade relationship with the second- and third-largest economies in the world.
Trade mission delegates will travel to Shanghai, China, and Tokyo, Japan.
The agenda includes meetings with business leaders and government officials, presentations by market and industry leaders, networking events and business site visits. The delegation will also visit Shaanxi Province in China, sister-state to Minnesota since 1982.

Minnesota Mission to Vietnam Fall 2010
The Minnesota Trade Office is considering a business development mission to Vietnam in the fall of 2010. The agenda has not been fully developed and could be tailored to reflect the interests of participating companies.
Events typically include market briefings, government meetings, site visits, matchmaking and networking receptions.
