STEM Expo for Parents and Students

The North Minneapolis STEM Expo is an excellent opportunity for middle school and high school students and their families to explore a wide range of exciting careers in science, technology, engineering and math - or STEM.

The expo is offered free of charge and includes fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations.

The evening event casts a spotlight on some interesting and fast-growing STEM career opportunities and helps parents and students understand the educational course work required for a variety of STEM careers.

Event Highlights
Students, parents and family members will have the opportunity to:

Build their own website
Travel through space in the Exploradome
Ride in a hovercraft
Discover robotics and see demonstrations from the LEGO League and 3M Traveling Wizards
Explore extra-curricular STEM activities at their schools and in their communities
Learn what it takes to prepare for life after high school
Meet and chat with advisers about how to prepare for an interesting and well-paying STEM career
