State and National Unemployment Rates
In September, the national unemployment rate remained at 9.6% (same as August); this is two-tenths percentage lower than the September 2009 rate of 9.8%. Likewise, Minnesota’s unemployment rate remained at 7.0% from last month; this rate is nine-tenths of a percentage lower than the 7.9% rate of September 2009.
