LMI Speakers Bureau

One way that DEED extends research and analysis is through public presentations by our labor market analysts and workforce economists.

Our experts deliver more than 100 seminars, panel presentations, breakout sessions, briefings and training events a year. They address local Workforce Investment Board meetings, classes at local colleges and libraries, meetings of regional human resource professional groups, regional economic summits, local chamber of commerce events, and conferences convened by employment counselor associations, workforce development agencies and regional foundations.

DEED typically provides speakers free of charge for events that are open to the public or organized by partners in Minnesota's workforce development and education systems. A fee may be assessed to present at closed events and for-profit events. To schedule a speaker, we ask that you please complete a presentation request form and email it to DEED.LMI@state.mn.us or fax it to (651) 282-5429. Please allow one week for your request to be considered.
