Speakers Bureau
One way that DEED extends research and analysis is through public presentations by our labor market analysts and workforce economists.
Our experts deliver more than 100 seminars, panel presentations, breakout sessions, briefings and training events a year. They address local Workforce Investment Board meetings, classes at local colleges and libraries, meetings of regional human resource professional groups, regional economic summits, local chamber of commerce events, and conferences convened by employment counselor associations, workforce development agencies and regional foundations.
DEED typically provides speakers free of charge for events that are open to the public or organized by partners in Minnesota's workforce development and education systems. A fee may be assessed to present at closed events and for-profit events. To schedule a speaker, contact the experts below at 651-259-7384 or toll-free at 888-234-1114.
For availability of speakers on other labor market, economic and demographic topics, contact Debbie Morrison at Debbie.Morrison@state.mn.us or 651-259-7406.
