U.S. Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U)

On a seasonally adjusted basis the February CPI-U increased 0.5 percent from January. The February CPI-U increased 2.1 percent from February 2010. The index for energy increased 3.4 percent from January to February. The food index rose 0.6 percent from January. The February index for all items less food and energy rose 0.2 percent. The 12-month change in the index for all items less food and energy rose 1.1 percent from February of 2010.
