Council Overview
The State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind gives advice and recommendations to State Services for the Blind about the services we offer, our priorities, and the products we make available through our Communication Center.
Mandated by both state and federal law, the council meets at least six times a year in St. Paul. Its members are appointed by the governor to a three-year term.
The council has eight committees appointed by the Chair of the Council. The committees frequently include members from the general public.
