Creative Job Search
This premier two-day workshop covers the foundations for a successful job search. Our professional staff will present current strategies and methods to help you. Topics include: transition, skills identification, resume strategies, resume content and formats, electronic resume tips, cover letters, job search preparation, job search tools, job search process, the job market, Internet job search strategies, interviewing, thank you letters and finishing touches.
Job Interviewing Strategies
Practice answering interview questions and get advice on how to prepare for interviews and other job search events, such as job fairs. This seminar gives job seekers the professional edge they need to land the job they want.
Job Search Over 40
Do you feel your age is affecting your ability to successfully job search, and you are not sure what you can do about it? Then come and join our interactive workshop to learn what you can and can’t change, and how to use what you can’t change to your advantage.
Mock Interviews
This is a chance for you to practice for a job interview. You will be asked several common interview questions. Upon completion of a mock interview, you will be given feedback and the opportunity to ask questions. Please treat this as a real interview (bring a resume and dress in interview attire).
Networking For Introverts
For introverts or those who might be a bit shy to become more comfortable networking and making valuable connections.
Resume Classes: Beginner or Advanced
These classes focus on varied levels of resume preparation covered differently than in the Creative Job Search classes.
