Dakota-Scott Youth Council
Overview
The Dakota-Scott Youth Council exists to ensure that our young people enter adulthood ready to succeed. To make that happen, we connect youth workers to programs that put them to work - to work finishing their education, to work preparing for a job, to work becoming successful adults.
For these first-rate services to be available to as many at-risk kids as possible, the Youth Council works closely with an ever-widening circle of community partners through a variety of advocacy opportunities.
Listening to young people allows us to hear what they think about the opportunities available to them now - and to identify opportunities they need. By focusing local attention on youth issues in our country, and by connecting program-eligible kids with local support programs we strive to serve the needs of an often-forgotten group of young adults.
Our best ideas come from you. Invite us to meet with you and your group or call the Youth Council at 651-554-5972 for the information we can provide and the connections you need.
