Veterans Employment Services

Youth Employment Services
We administer summer and year-round employment programs geared to help young people (ages 14 through 21) enter "earn and learn" situations. Summer jobs provide a paycheck for eight weeks, and entry-level training in a variety of occupations at nonprofit, educational and other community-oriented work sites.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services
We provide a variety of services that help people with disabilities prepare for, find and keep employment and live as independently as possible.

Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Services are available to help people who are blind and visually impaired prepare for, find and keep employment and live as independently as possible. In addition, we offer a wide variety of communications services to individuals who are visually impaired but not job seekers.

Older Worker Employment Services
If you are over 55 years of age, looking for a full or part-time job and are having difficulty approaching employers, we can help you identify your skills, offer tips on job seeking and interviewing, find unadvertised job opportunities, and recommend suitable training programs, if necessary. If you are a mature entrepreneur, we can help write business plans and market your products.

For Workers Facing a Layoff
Our Dislocated Worker Program helps workers who have been laid off through no fault of their own prepare for and find new jobs.
