ST. PAUL – The Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) will showcase “Jobs for the future” at an exhibit in the Eco Experience building at the State Fair.
The booth will feature information on employment, educational and training opportunities in the green economy and a free takeaway bookmark for visitors promoting three “Jobs for the future” resources:
- MinnesotaWorks.net is the state’s premier job website. Job seekers can view thousands of job listings from private employers statewide at no cost, upload resumes, apply for jobs, and manage job search efforts.

Pure Soap Bars and Pure Soap Flakes are mild and gentle, and can be used on sensitive skin, natural fibers, antique fabrics, and wood floors and furniture. Pure Soap Laundry Powder is made with Pure Soap specially blended with Baking Soda, Borax, and Washing Soda for everyday laundry and cleaning.
- Red River Coatings, a company based in Argyle, Minnesota, manufactures environmentally-friendly animal and bird deterrents. Red River Coatings will exhibit on Sept. 3 and 4.
DEED’s Veterans Employment Services will be featured in the exhibit on Sept. 1. Veterans representatives will showcase their employment services and connect businesses and veterans with Veterans Employment Representatives and opportunities in the new green economy and emerging jobs.

Showcraft, the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, and the American Society of Landscape Architects also contributed to the exhibit.
