- The DEED Rulemaking Docket includes a summary of DEED rulemaking activities. Contact the appropriate lead rulewriter to learn more about a particular rule; or to obtain a copy of proposed rules, written comments on proposed rules, names of persons who have made written requests for a public hearing, and time and location of public hearings.

- Proposed DEED rules are published in the State Register. Copies of final DEED rules are available from the Minnesota Bookstore by calling toll-free: 800.657.3757.

| Reason for Rulemaking | These rule amendments are needed to redirect program resources to employments services or programs that can best achieve positive outcomes for customers. Rule amendments being considered are: 1) changes that bring rules into conformity with federal regulations (Part 361); 2) clarification as to when community employment meets the standard for “Supported Employment”; and 3) revision of funding conditions to ensure the viability of the program to meet consumer needs. |
