DEED Speakers Bureau:
Minnesota's Labor Market Experts
Labor market analysts and workforce economists with Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development are the State's experts on the latest labor market intelligence, economic conditions and trends. One way that DEED extends research and analysis is through public presentations. Our experts deliver over 100 seminars, panel presentations, breakout sessions, briefings, and trainings per year.
Examples of recent audiences addressed by our experts include: local Workforce Investment Board meetings, labor market economics and job-search courses at local colleges and libraries, meetings of regional human resource professionals associations, "economic summits" in several regions, local chamber of commerce events, and conferences convened by employment counselor associations, workforce development agencies, and regional foundations.
DEED typically provides speakers pro bono for events that are open-to-the-public or organized by partners in Minnesota's workforce development and education systems. A speaker's fee may be assessed to present at closed events and for-profit events.
To schedule a speaker, contact the experts below at 651-282-2714 or toll-free at 888-234-1114.
For availability of speakers on other labor market, economic, and demographic topics, contact Debbie Morrison (Debbie.Morrison@state.mn.us) at 651-296-6756.
