Wage rates for maintenance and production employees range from $13.35/hr to $16.31/hr.

This project will enable HGA to introduce the concepts and usage of computerized systems such as computer aided drafting (CAD), AutoCAD, and other 3D software programs in their normal design work. The “in-house’ training through the Minneapolis Community and Technical College will be a cost effective and welcomed option to the normal out-of-town “boot camps’ normally used for this type of training. Wages range from $15.40/hr for Advanced AutoCad Techs to $50.78/hr for Architects & Engineers.

This project is designed to take advantage of a new and developing simulation technology for training health care professionals based on the use of a Human Patient simulator, a computer-driven, full-sized mannequin. The mannequin can be adapted for male or female characteristics and exhibits lifelike clinical signs within a full array of intricate programmed systems. Approximately 20 different training programs will be developed for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. The project will enable HealthPartners to create a safe training space for all levels of health care without endangering the health or safety of living patients. Average wage rates are $35.14/hr.

This project will result in the development of a Certification Training Program for the 170 different jobs and processes in the Daig division. The certification program will replace the current “90 day proving time” practice through which only 1 in 3 new hires can normally complete. Wage rates in the Daig division range from $9.50 per hour for entry level to $36.00 per hour for engineers.
