Minnesota's WIRED Grants
The United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration announced a Solicitation for Grant Applications for Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) Initiative/Third Generation on February 13, 2007. Funding availablity nationwide is $65 million and individual grants are expected to total $5 million over a period of three years. Applications were due on April 13, 2007 and each Governor could submit up to two applications. For more information on the WIRED solicitation go to www.doleta.gov.
