Youth @ Work: Teaching Teens About Safety and Health in the Workplace
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and Labor and Industry (DOLI) sponsored two one-day Train-the-Trainer sessions on Youth @ Work: Teaching Teens About Safety and Health in the Workplace March 29-30, 2007. Staff from the National Young Worker Safety Resource Center* trained state agency staff, teachers, and job placement professionals in the use of Youth @ Work: Talking Safety, a 3-5 hour curriculum which teaches high school students basic information about occupational safety and health.
The curriculum was developed by the National Young Worker Safety Resource Center. The curriculum components can be downloaded from the links below.
